D.C. Mun. Regs. tit. 29, § 5218
5218.1 Intensive Care Coordination (“ICC”) is a comprehensive, holistic, and youth and family-driven approach to case management activities for children and youth experiencing behavioral health challenges.
5218.2 ICC is covered as Targeted Case Management under the Medicaid State Plan and shall be delivered in accordance with 42 C.F.R. § 440.169(b).
5218.3 ICC shall:
(a) Be billed using a monthly unit;
(b) Require prior authorization; and
(c) Be delivered in accordance with the requirements set forth in Chapter 34 of Title 22-A DCMR.
5218.4 ICC shall not be billed on the same day as other case management or care coordination services, including Clinical Care Coordination and Assertive Community Treatment, unless otherwise authorized.
