5210.1 Assertive Community Treatment services shall:

1. (a) Be provided in fifteen (15) minute units;
2. (b) Require prior authorization from DMH;
3. (c) Consist of a face-to face encounter; and
4. (d) Meet all other requirements set forth in 22 DCMR § 3423.

5210.2 Assertive community treatment shall not be billed on the same day as any other MHRS, except for crisis/emergency which requires retrospective authorization by DMH.

5210.3 Assertive community treatment shall be provided in a DMH-certified community mental health rehabilitation services agency, the client's home or other community setting.
