Applicability of Flood Hazard Rules

3101 APPLICABILITY
3101.1 This chapter shall apply to all lands within the jurisdiction of the District of Columbia and identified as being a floodplain as designated in the Federal Flood Insurance Study for the District of Columbia prepared by the Federal Emergency Management Agency dated May 15, 1985.
3101.2 This chapter shall be applicable to all applicants for building permits in the floodplain area.
3101.3 The Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs shall secure the Federal Insurance Administrator's approval prior to any changes in the identified floodplain areas.
