1012.1 The chapter shall not apply to transactions involving the sale or purchase of any of the following:

1. (a) Coins that change substantially in relation to the precious metal content of those coins;
2. (b) Medallion form bullion; or
3. (c) Bullion with a recognizable hallmark, fineness stamp, and weight delineation.
