Any decision by DCHA with respect to application, eligibility, continued occupancy or terminations under this Chapter may be appealed to the Regional Administrator for Public Housing as an Administrative Review only. All requests for Administrative Reviews must be submitted in writing to the Regional Administrator for Public Housing within fourteen (14) calendar days of any decision made by DCHA. After review of the request for an Administrative Review, the Regional Administrator will issue a Decision within thirty (30) calendar days of receipt of the request for an Administrative Review. The AYBL participant may file an appeal of the Regional Administrator’s Final Decision to the Director of Operations Support. All appeals to the Director of Operations Support must be filed within five (5) business days of the issuance of the Regional Administrator’s Final Decision. The Director of Operations Support will issue the Final Decision within thirty (30) calendar days from the date of the appeal. For the purposes of this Chapter decisions made by DCHA are not governed by 14 DCMR Chapter 63.
