D.C. Mun. Regs. tit. 11-K, § 616
616.1 Accessory uses, buildings, or structures customarily incidental and subordinate to the principal uses permitted in Subtitle K § 612 shall be permitted in any StE zone except StE-19 as a matter of right, subject to the development standards of Subtitle K §§ 602 through 606.
616.2 Short-Term Rental shall be permitted as an accessory use to a principal residential use in the StE zones.
