The Colorado State Board of Health hereby officially names and approves Tetracycline ophthalmic ointment and Erythromycin ophthalmic ointment as a prophylaxis to be used in treating the eyes of newly born infants, in addition to the prophylaxis presently prescribed by law, to wit: “a solution of silver nitrate.” OPHTHALMIC OINTMENT IN NEWBORN INFANTS The Colorado State Board of Health hereby officially names and approves Tetracycline ophthalmic ointment and Erythromycin ophthalmic ointment as a prophylaxis to be used in treating the eyes of newly born infants, in addition to the prophylaxis presently prescribed by law, to wit: “asolution of silver nitrate.”
