The national MCSAP elements are:

1. (a) Driver inspections;
2. (b) Vehicle inspections;
3. (c) Traffic enforcement;
4. (d) Investigations;
5. (e) New entrant safety audits;
6. (f) CMV safety programs focusing on international commerce in Border States;
7. (g) Beginning October 1, 2020, full participation in PRISM or an acceptable alternative as determined by the Administrator;
8. (h) Accurate, complete, timely, and corrected data;
9. (i) Public education and awareness; and
10. (j) Other elements that may be prescribed by the Administrator.
