1. (a) An LEA must use funds under subpart A of this part to provide services that supplement, and in no case supplant, the services that would, in the absence of Title I services, be available to participating private school children.

2. (b)

   1. (1) The LEA must use funds under subpart A of this part to meet the special educational needs of participating private school children.

   2. (2) The LEA may not use funds under subpart A of this part for—

      1. (i) The needs of the private school; or

      2. (ii) The general needs of children in the private school.
