The operator must ensure that—

1. (a) Equipment repairs are made so that—

   1. (1) The equipment continues to meet the applicable requirements in this subpart and in NFPA 59A (incorporated by reference, see § 127.003); and
   2. (2) Safety is not compromised; and
2. (b) Welding is done in accordance with NFPA 51B and Section 10.4.3 of NFPA 59A (both incorporated by reference, see § 127.003).
