1. (a) These provisions authorize the Administrator of NASA to exempt certain NASA Privacy Act systems of records from portions of the requirements of this regulation.
2. (b) The Administrator has delegated this authority to the Associate Administrator (See § 1212.701).
3. (c) For those NASA systems of records that are determined to be exempt, the system notice shall describe the exemption and the reasons.
