1. (a) If any design, picture, symbol or illustration showing a churn is used, and the product is not in its entirety the residue of the churning process;
2. (b) If the term “churned” is used and the buttermilk is not in its entirety the residue of the churning of cream, with or without the addition of cultured milk or cultured skim milk, in the process of buttermaking.

Within the requirements of Food and Agricultural Code Section 38542(f), buttermilk labeling bearing any of the following information is false and misleading:
