As used in this article, the following terms have the following meanings:

1. (1) CREDIBLE THREAT. A knowing and willful statement or course of conduct that, based on the totality of the circumstances, would cause a reasonable person to fear for his or her safety or the safety of another.
2. (2) GOVERNMENT. The term as defined in Section 13A-10-1.
3. (3) GOVERNMENTAL FUNCTION. The term as defined in Section 13A-10-1.

4. (4) PROPERTY. Personal or real property. The term includes, but is not limited to, any of the following buildings or real property:

   1. a. A church, mosque, synagogue, or other religious real property.
   2. b. A public or private school.
   3. c. A hospital, nursing home, or other building housing disabled or immobile individuals.
5. (5) VIOLENT ACT. A crime of violence as defined in Section 13A-11-70, or a violent offense as defined in Section 12-25-32.

6. (6) WEAPON OF MASS DESTRUCTION. Any of the following:

   1. a. A destructive device as defined in 18 U.S.C. § 921.
   2. b. A weapon that is designed or intended to cause death or serious bodily injury through the release, dissemination, or impact of toxic or poisonous chemicals.
   3. c. A weapon involving a biological agent, toxin, or vector, as those terms are defined in 18 U.S.C. § 178.
   4. d. A weapon that is designed to release radiation or radioactivity at a level dangerous to human life.
