THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, Respondent, v SEAN PRITCHETT, Appellant.
Appellate Division of the Supreme Court of New York, Second Department
May 16, 2006
29 A.D.3d 828, 814 N.Y.S.2d 281
Ordered that the judgment is affirmed.
The Supreme Court properly imposed consecutive sentences on three of the defendant’s attempted murder convictions because the offenses were separate and distinct acts, notwithstanding that they occurred in the course of a continuous incident (see People v Laureano, 87 NY2d 640, 643 [1996]; People v Lloyd, 23 AD3d 296, 297-298 [2005], lv denied 6 NY3d 755 [2005]; cf.
The defendant’s remaining contention is unpreserved for appellate review and we decline to reach it in the exercise of our interest of justice jurisdiction. Schmidt, J.P., Crane, Santucci and Spolzino, JJ., concur.
