WYOMING CHILDRENS TRUST FUND
Section 1. Purposes. The purposes of these rules are to establish procedures to:
Section 2. Authority. These Children's Trust Fund rules are promulgated by the Children's Trust Fund Board, in accordance with W.S. 14-8-101 through 14-8-108.

Section 4. Eligibility for Grants. Grants may be awarded only to nonprofit or public organizations which submit acceptable proposals.
Section 5. Application Procedure. Application deadlines and procedures shall be widely publicized to facilitate equal access to the funds on the part of all potential grantees.
(5) Number of persons who will be served;
(6) Whether the costs will be one time or ongoing; and if ongoing, how the program will be funded in the future;
(7) How the proposed grant activities can be expected to lessen the occurrence and reoccurrence of child abuse and neglect;
(8) A plan to reduce the need for government intervention in child abuse and neglect prevention and education, which must be clearly stated in terms of measurable results;
(9) Schedule for project completion of each activity;
(10) A description of the applicant’s intended evaluation and accountability procedures;
(11) Three letters of support from local community organizations or agencies;
(12) Certification that the applicant’s request does not duplicate or supplant funds available from other sources; and
(13) Any additional information the Board shall require.
(a) Applications shall be submitted to the Board by the applicant(s) for its review and recommendations. A recommendation of the Board requires a majority vote of a quorum of the Board.
(b) After considering the merits of each application, the Board shall grant the entire request, grant a portion of the request, call for additional information, delay action on the request to allow time to investigate and/or determine the applicant’s qualifications, or deny the request.
(c) The Board shall not grant funds in excess of the interest and income available.
(d) Continuing projects will be considered by the Board and either granted or denied funds prior to consideration of new projects.
Section 7. Use of Trust Fund Logo. Applicant(s) shall use the official Wyoming Children’s Trust Fund logo on all materials produced under the grant, and shall give appropriate credit to the Wyoming Children’s Trust Fund.
Section 8. Review Procedure. Applicant(s) may request a review of the decision of the Board. A request for review must be submitted to the Board, in writing, within 30 days of the postmarked date on the official notification of the Board’s decision. The review shall be considered by the Board at the next regularly scheduled meeting.
(a) Within one calendar year of receiving a grant award, each grantee shall submit to the Board a fiscal report, description of the accomplishments, successes and/or failures of the project, and other pertinent information.
(b) Grantees requesting continuation shall include the required reports with their grant application for the ensuing year. The Board shall review continuation proposals and reports and make any applicable recommendations which it believes necessary prior to granting continuation of funds.
