W. Va. Code § 3-8-5g – Prohibition on political contributions and expenditures by foreign nationals.

(a) A foreign national may not, directly or indirectly, make:
1. (1) A contribution or donation, or an express or implied promise to make a contribution or donation, to a candidate’s committee, a political committee, or a political party; or
2. (2) An independent expenditure or any disbursement for an electioneering communication related to a state or local election.
(b) A person may not solicit, accept, or receive a contribution or donation described in subsection (a) of this section.
