1. (1) A bus may not be operated with any cracked rims, loose lug bolts or nuts or elongated stud holes.
2. (2) The wheel bearings may not have more than 1/4 inch free play when measured at the tire level.

3. (3) The following measurements are the maximum amount of play permitted in the king pins or ball joints when measured at the outside of the tire:

   1. (a) When the wheel diameter is 16 inches or less, not more than 1/4 inch play is permitted.
   2. (b) When the wheel diameter is greater than 16 inches the play permitted is 3/8 inch.
