1. (1) Authorization. A license issued under this section authorizes the license holder to be employed by a school district as a school occupational therapist assistant.
2. (2) Eligibility. The state superintendent may issue a school occupational therapist assistant license under this section to an applicant who is certified as an occupational therapist assistant by the occupational therapists affiliated credentialing board.
3. (3) Renewal. A license under this subsection is renewable if the applicant remains certified as an occupational therapist assistant by the occupational therapists affiliated credentialing board.
4. (4) Duration. A license issued under this section is valid for 5 years.
