Definitions.

In this chapter:

  1. (1) “Accredited university” means an institution which is accredited by a regional or national accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. department of education.
  2. (2) “Course of study” means course work completed while enrolled as a student at a college or university accredited by a regional or national accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. department of education.
  3. (3) “Hour” means 60 minutes.
  4. (4) “Licensee” means a hearing instrument specialist, audiologist or speech-language pathologist licensed by the board under ch. 459, Stats.
  5. (5) “‘Program” means a seminar or course other than a course of study offered by a sponsor approved by the board.
