The rules in this chapter are adopted under authority in ss. 15.08 (5) (b), 227.11 (2), 470.03 (1) (a), 470.03 (2), 470.04, and 470.07, Stats. The purpose of the rules in this chapter is to interpret basic education, experience, and examination requirements for licensure as a professional hydrologist as specified in ss. 470.04 and 470.05, Stats., and to govern biennial continuing education of professional hydrologists.
