The facility shall provide youth with structured experience in independent living and life skills that may include the following components:

1. (1) Independent living.

   1. (a) Ability to find safe, stable, and affordable housing.
   2. (b) Basic home maintenance and cleaning skills.
   3. (c) Meal planning and cooking skills.
   4. (d) Transportation skills.
   5. (e) Obtaining medical, dental, and mental health care.
   6. (f) Money management.

2. (2) Life skills.

   1. (a) Development of youths’ emotional regulation, self-responsibility, and resilience.
   2. (b) Development of appropriate pro-social relationships.
   3. (c) Fostering protective skills against victimization.
