Department of Corrections
(1)
An officer supervising youth may not be responsible for supervising adult inmates during the same time period.
(2)
An officer responsible for supervising youth may not be responsible for radio or dispatch duties during the same time period.
(3)
An officer of the same gender as the youth being admitted or held in custody shall be on duty in the facility.
(4)
At all times an officer shall be within hearing distance of the area in which a youth is confined.
