1. (1) An inmate who does any of the following with another person with force or the threat of force is guilty of sexual assault:

   1. (a) Has sexual intercourse.
   2. (b) Has sexual contact.
   3. (c) Commits an act of sexual gratification.
2. (2) Consensual acts are prohibited under this section.
