This chapter is promulgated under the authority of s. 254.151, Stats., for the purpose of establishing criteria and procedures for the award of annual project grants from the appropriation under s. 20.435 (1) (ef), Stats., to local health departments or non-profit agencies working in collaboration with local health departments on projects aimed at preventing lead poisoning or exposure to lead.
