(1) General. The operator shall provide a sufficient number of containers to hold garbage and refuse until disposal.
(2) Container.
(a)Design. Garbage and refuse shall be kept in a durable, easily cleanable, pest resistant, leak−proof and nonabsorbent container.
(b)Covered and emptied.
1. A container shall be provided with a tight−fitting lid, door, or cover that is kept closed when not in use.
2. A container for holding garbage and refuse shall be emptied at a frequency that minimizes the development of objectionable odors and other conditions that attract or harbor pests.
