- (1) In accordance with WAC 82-05-040, within a reasonable time of receipt of a petition for rule making, the council will send the petitioner an acknowledgment of receipt of the petition and the name and telephone number of the council’s contact person.
- (2) Each petition for the adoption, amendment, or repeal of a rule shall be considered by the council, and the council may, in its discretion, solicit comments or invite discussion concerning the matter prior to disposition of the petition.
