For the purpose of this section the following apply:

1. (1) The definitions in RCW 10.97.030 will apply to these regulations.
2. (2) The definitions as enumerated in RCW 43.43.830 through 43.43.845, and as amended by chapter 9A.44 RCW, "An act relating to child and adult abuse information," will apply whenever applicable in these regulations.
3. (3) "Nonconviction data" has the meaning set forth in RCW 10.97.030 (2) and (8).
4. (4) "Division" means the criminal records division of the Washington state patrol.
5. (5) "The administration of criminal justice" has the meaning set forth in RCW 10.97.030 (1), but does not include crime prevention activities (if that is the sole function of the program or agency) or criminal defense activities.
