1. (1) The stabilization, assessment, and intervention facility (SAIF) must store a client's medication:

   1. (a) In a locked place, such as a locked room or locked box;
   2. (b) Separate from food and toxic chemicals;
   3. (c) Under proper conditions for sanitation, temperature, and ventilation; and

   4. (d) In the original medication container with the pharmacist-prepared or manufacturer's label, which must include the:

      1. (i) Name of the client for whom the medication is prescribed;
      2. (ii) Name of the medication; and
      3. (iii) Dosage and frequency.
2. (2) SAIF may store a client's medication in a medication organizer if the medication organizer was prepared by a pharmacist or registered nurse.
