1. (1) If you are on the IFS, CIIBS, core, or community protection waiver and your assessed need for services exceeds the scope of services provided under your waiver, DDA will make one or more of the following efforts to meet your health and welfare needs:

   1. (a) Identify more available natural supports;
   2. (b) Initiate an exception to rule to access available nonwaiver services not included in the IFS, CIIBS, core, or community protection waiver other than natural supports;
   3. (c) Offer you the opportunity to apply for an alternate waiver that has the services you need, subject to WAC 388-845-0045; or
   4. (d) Offer you placement in an ICF/IID.
2. (2) If none of the above options is successful in meeting your health and welfare needs, DDA may terminate your waiver eligibility.
3. (3) If you are terminated from a waiver, you will remain eligible for nonwaiver DDA services but access to state-only funded DDA services is limited by availability of funding.
