When a client is in the RHDY program, DDA must:

1. (1) Facilitate the development of the RHDY engagement plan under WAC 388-842-0170 before the start of service and at each annual assessment;
2. (2) Visit the client in their licensed or certified setting at least every 90 days;
3. (3) Develop the client's person-centered service plan as required under WAC 388-845-3055;
4. (4) Assist with accessing a client's medically necessary physical or behavioral health benefits, which may include attending care conferences and sharing information with medicare, medicaid, or private health insurance representatives for purposes of care coordination;

5. (5) Monitor the client's services by:

   1. (a) Facilitating individualized team meetings on a quarterly basis;
   2. (b) Reviewing the individual instruction and support plan;
   3. (c) Reviewing the quarterly report;
   4. (d) Reviewing incident reports and follow-up measures involving the client;
   5. (e) Authorizing payment for services;
6. (6) Determine eligibility for medicaid coverage under chapters 182-513 and 182-515 WAC;
7. (7) Complete an individual rate assessment;
8. (8) Monitor the provider to ensure the provider complies with contract and certification requirements, which includes compliance with DDA policies;
9. (9) Refer a client for a nurse delegation assessment by a registered nurse delegator, if required under chapter 246-945 WAC.
