1. (1) A matchmaker shall request approval from the department for each boxing contest for boxing events.

2. (2) The department may approve the contest if the following information about each boxer is similar and the department does not have undue concern for the safety and welfare of either boxer proposed for a contest:

   1. (a) Boxing record;
   2. (b) Boxing experience;
   3. (c) Boxing skill; and
   4. (d) Physical condition.
3. (3) The department shall notify the matchmaker and promoter when a boxing contest is approved by giving preliminary approval to the matchmaker and by approving the advance notice submitted by the promoter.
