When the department receives proof that a person has successfully completed a safe driving course, the department will:
- (1) Determine whether the person who completed a safe driving course has one or more pending or existing suspensions due to an accumulation of traffic infractions.
- (2) Terminate the most recently added pending or existing suspension on the person's driving record, so long as no pending or existing suspension was terminated within the last five years.
- (3) Not impose relicensing requirements if a person only has a pending suspension.
