Make sure tiebacks meet these requirements

  1. (1) You must make sure tiebacks are equivalent in strength to the suspension ropes.

  2. (2) You must make sure tiebacks are secured to a structurally sound anchorage on the building or structure and installed:

    1. (a) At a right angle (perpendicular) to the face of the building or structure; or
    2. (b) As opposing angle tiebacks.
