1. (1) You must prohibit work on or from scaffolds during storms or high winds unless both of the following are met:

   1. (a) A competent person has determined that it is safe for employees to be on the scaffold;

   2. (b) The employees are protected by either:

      1. (i) A personal fall arrest system; or
      2. (ii) Wind screens.
2. (2) You must make sure wind screens are not used unless the scaffold is secured against the anticipated wind forces.
