Wash. Admin. Code § 296-874-20006 – Maintain structural integrity when intermixing scaffold components

(1) You must make sure intermixed scaffold components:
1. (a) Fit together without force; and
2. (b) Maintain the scaffold's structural integrity.
(2) You must make sure a qualified person determines that modifying components in order to intermix them will result in a structurally sound scaffold.
(3) You must make sure scaffold components made of different metals are not used together.
EXEMPTION: Different types of metals may be used together if a competent person determines that galvanic action will not reduce the strength of any component to less than the minimum strength required.
