Important:

This section does not apply to manually propelled elevating work platforms.

1. (1) You must make sure the operator does all of the following before and while driving with the platform elevated:

   1. (a) Maintains a clear view of the path of travel;
   2. (b) Keeps a safe distance from obstacles, debris, drop-offs, holes, depressions, ramps, and other hazards to safe travel;
   3. (c) Keeps a safe distance from overhead obstacles.
2. (2) You must prohibit stunt driving and horseplay.
