1. (1) You must do a periodic review at least annually to:

   1. (a) Make sure employees know and can apply the energy control procedures.

   2. (b) Correct any deviations or inadequacies identified.

      Exemption:

      Energy control procedures used less frequently than once a year only need to be reviewed before being used.

2. (2) You must have the periodic review done by an authorized employee other than the ones using the energy control procedure being reviewed.

3. (3) You must document that periodic reviews have been done.

   1. (a) Machine or equipment the energy control procedure was used for.
   2. (b) Date of the review.
   3. (c) Employees included in the review.
   4. (d) Person doing the review.
