You must provide the means necessary to isolate, secure, or block machines and equipment from energy sources.

Note:	Examples of means to control energy include:
	1. Locks.
	2. Tags.
	3. Chains.
	4. Wedges.
	5. Key blocks.
	6. Adapter pins.
	7. Self-locking fasteners.
	8. Blank flanges.
	9. Cribbing.
