1. (1) No employer shall require any employee to go or be in any employment or place of employment which is not safe.

2. (2) No employer shall fail or neglect:

   1. (a) To provide safe access to the worksite.
   2. (b) To provide and use safety devices and safeguards.
   3. (c) To adopt and use methods and processes to render the employment and place of employment safe.
   4. (d) To do every other thing reasonably necessary to protect the life and safety of employees.
