Under RCW 48.140.020, reporting entities must report all claims closed in the preceding calendar year to the commissioner.

1. (1) Beginning in 2009, closed claim reports for the prior calendar year are due by March 1.
2. (2) A reporting entity may report a closed claim any time after the claim is closed, but no later than March 1.
