1. (1) A continuing education provider cannot advertise a course submitted for continuing education credit prior to the commissioner approving the course. A provider may not advertise a course before obtaining the commissioner's approval for the course, even if the provider indicates that the provider has submitted the course to the commissioner and credit approval is pending.
2. (2) If the commissioner approves the course, the commissioner will send a course approval notice to the provider's registered email address. A provider cannot present a course until the effective date.

3. (3) A continuing education course advertisement must include all of the following:

   1. (a) The continuing education provider's name;
   2. (b) The course title;
   3. (c) A brief description of the course subject matter;
   4. (d) The number of approved continuing education credit hours;
   5. (e) If a classroom course, the location where the course will be presented;
   6. (f) If a classroom or webinar course, the date and time the course will be presented; and
   7. (g) The total cost of the course.
