The workforce training and education coordinating board:

1. (1) Has primary responsibility for program policy for the WAVE program.
2. (2) Administers the application and recipient selection processes for the WAVE program.
3. (3) Provides the higher education coordinating board with all pertinent information for the purpose of paying the WAVE scholarship to recipients selected after June 30, 1994.
