1. (1) Applicants applying for a multistate license under the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) shall meet all requirements outlined in this chapter and RCW 18.80.020(3).

2. (2) Individuals that hold a multistate nurse license issued by another compact jurisdiction outside of Washington and employed by certain entities shall complete specific requirements as a condition of employment identified in subsection (3) of this section. These entities include:

   1. (a) Hospitals as described in RCW 70.41.540;
   2. (b) Private establishments as described in RCW 71.12.740;
   3. (c) Ambulatory surgical facilities as described in RCW 70.230.220;
   4. (d) Nursing homes as described in RCW 18.51.590;
   5. (e) Assisted living facilities as described in RCW 18.20.530;
   6. (f) Hospice care centers as described in RCW 70.127.300;
   7. (g) Adult family homes as described in RCW 70.128.310; or
   8. (h) Nursing pools as described in RCW 18.52C.070.

3. (3) As a condition of employment, individuals that hold a multistate nurse license issued by another compact jurisdiction and employed by an entity listed in subsection (2) of this section, shall:

   1. (a) Complete any demographic data surveys required by the board as described in WAC 246-840-015; and
   2. (b) Complete the one-time, six-hour training in suicide assessment, treatment, and management required by RCW 43.70.442 (5)(a).
