The DQAC is granted the authority to issue the following types of dental licenses or permits:

1. (1) Licensure by examination standard. (RCW 18.32.040)
2. (2) Licensure without examination—Licensed in another state. (RCW 18.32.215)
3. (3) Faculty licensure. (RCW 18.32.195)
4. (4) Dental resident licensure. (RCW 18.32.195)
5. (5) Conscious sedation permits. (RCW 18.32.640)
6. (6) Anesthesia permits. (RCW 18.32.640)
7. (7) Temporary practice permits. (RCW 18.130.075)
