Wash. Admin. Code § 246-810-0131 – Requirements to report suspected abuse or neglect of a child or vulnerable adult

(1) As required by chapter 26.44 RCW, all counselors shall immediately report abuse or neglect of a child if the counselor has reasonable cause to believe that an incident has occurred.
(2) As required by chapter 74.34 RCW, all counselors must report suspected abandonment, abuse, neglect, or financial exploitation of a vulnerable adult when there is reasonable cause to believe that abandonment, abuse, financial exploitation, or neglect has occurred.
