Bypassing a safety interlock or interlocks is allowed only if:

1. (1) Authorized by the radiation safety committee and/or radiation safety officer;
2. (2) Recorded in a permanent log and a notice posted at the accelerator control console; and
3. (3) The bypass procedure is terminated as soon as possible.
