1. (1) Each licensee and registrant shall perform upon instructions from the department, or shall permit the department to perform, such reasonable tests and surveys as the department deems appropriate or necessary including, but not limited to, tests and surveys of:

   1. (a) Sources of radiation;
   2. (b) Facilities wherein sources of radiation are used or stored;
   3. (c) Radiation detection and monitoring instruments; and
   4. (d) Other equipment and devices used in connection with utilization or storage of licensed or registered sources of radiation.
2. (2) In accordance with the Public Disclosure Act, the department shall provide to the licensee or registrant copies of all tests and surveys conducted on the licensee's or registrant's sources of radiation, upon written request of the licensee or registrant. The department shall acknowledge the receipt of the request in a timely manner by telephone or letter.
