Wash. Admin. Code § 182-502A-0101 – Purpose

(1) Program integrity means a system of reasonable and consistent oversight of the medicaid program.
(2) The medicaid agency conducts program integrity activities to detect and prevent potential fraud, waste, and abuse. These activities include identifying improper payments and recovering overpayments.
