Wash. Admin. Code § 173-50-050
(1) The department maintains a procedural manual describing specifics of the accreditation process. At a minimum, the procedural manual describes the procedures for:
• Submitting an application and fee;
• Preparing a quality assurance manual;
• Performing proficiency testing;
• Conducting audits;
• Accrediting out-of-state laboratories;
• Granting, denying, suspending, and revoking accreditation; and
• Notifying laboratories and authorized government officials of accreditation actions.
The department will make the procedural manual available to all interested persons.
