1. (1) The legislature has provided that the primary responsibilities of the department of ecology are:

   1. (a) To provide a list of hazardous waste generators and to determine the primary business activities of hazardous waste generators.
   2. (b) To collect the fees from hazardous waste generators as identified in (a) of this subsection.
2. (2) The department of ecology will periodically amend the list of primary business activities of hazardous waste generators by reviewing the most current verified information that is available to the department.
